1. Who we are

FeedLab is a trading name of Averon Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We operate the FeedLab platform at feedlab.app. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Averon Labs Ltd.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@feedlab.app.

2. What data we collect

Account data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and school name. This data is stored in our Supabase database hosted in the EU.

Usage data: We collect data about your use of the platform, including assessment names, the number of students in each report, and when reports are generated. We do not collect student names or individual scores.

Student data: FeedLab processes student assessment data (names and scores) locally in your browser. This data is never transmitted to our servers and is cleared when you close the tab.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and maintain your FeedLab account
  • To send service emails, including welcome messages and trial reminders
  • To improve the platform based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — to provide the FeedLab service you have subscribed to
  • Legitimate interests — to improve the platform and communicate service updates
  • Legal obligation — where required by law

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes. Aggregated, anonymised usage data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Third-party services

FeedLab uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Supabase — database and authentication, hosted in the EU
  • Vercel — hosting and deployment
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data processing terms. We have data processing agreements in place where required by UK GDPR.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
